Design

The Altura series has been developed by Aerialtronics to be reliable, robust and extremely stable.

It's contemporary shaped, designed with an eye for detail and built with high quality components. The Altura Pro V2 systems are assembled by hand in the Netherlands and are tested thoroughly.

Control

The Altura V2 UAS systems are equipped with a tablet and RF controller. The tablet with touch screen makes easy and intuitive automated control possible. You can do automatic take-off and landing, see live flight data and navigate on GPS maps. The RF controller allows for manual control and as backup for the tablet.

Functionality

The Altura Series has an advanced GPS assisted Flight Control System. This makes flying and navigating easy.

For example it allows the Altura to hover at a fixed position or maintain a fixed height. And autonomous flights including auto take-off and landing are possible

The intuitive and user-friendly Altura Ground Control Station lets the user carry out precision missions. Camera positions and locks can be added to GPS flight patterns.

Performance and range

Using GPS the Altura Pro remains user friendly in use with winds up to 5 Bft ( <10 m/s ).

Flight time can be 8 up to 28 minutes dependant on payload and model.

The standard GPS flight range is up to 600 meters. Upgrades up to 2km are possible.

Modular

The modular design of the Altura Pro Series V2 makes extending configurations, applying upgrades and extensions easy.

You can use without any problem a wide variety of sensors and cameras on the Altura. Or add extra battery capacity when extra flight time is needed.

Live video

AT-SD
The AT-SD video downlink offers a Standard Definition image over a distance of 2km.

AT-HD
For high-end applications like live broadcast and surveillance Aerialtronics offers together with Vislink the unique Full HD 1080 24p / 1080i / H264 video link with a range of 2km.

Cameras and sensors

A range of gyro stabilized camera and sensor mounts can be attached to the Altura series. These mounts can be equipped with cameras like Canon 5D, Panasonic GH2, Nikon, Sony CX780, Sony FS100 / FS700, Red Epic, Red Scarlet. And mounting special sensors like thermal FLIR, UV or corona cameras, sniffers and microphones is also possible.

Image quality & stability

One of the most important features of the Altura Series is its accurate stabilisation and resulting image quality. The 3 axis stabilised camera mount in combination with our special AT vibra adaptor system and advanced flight control provide a crisp image that requires minimal to non post production.

User friendly

In comparison with most other systems on the market the Altura is very easy to fly. Normally it will take you less than an hour to make your first flight. During a demonstration you can see how easy it is for yourself.
