What is the flighttime for the Altura?
The flight time is dependant on the configuration. The numbers of propellers, type of motors, payload weight and the number of batteries all have influence on the flight time.
Using a heavy RED cam setup for cinema use requires a system with 8 strong motors and controllers. The increased power consumption will give you a maximum flight time of 10 minutes.
But if you configure a lightweight setup for security surveillance with multiple batteries you can get a flight time up to 30 minutes.
Changing batteries can be done in a matter of seconds. So if you need to be in the air for longer periods of time, you can always choose to have multiple Altura systems that take turns during battery changes. This way you will not lose a single second of coverage.
How much weight can an Altura lift?
Depending on the configuration, the Altura can lift up to 5kg. However, it's important to know that the more weight you add the shorter the flight time will be.
Is it easy to operate the Altura system?
Yes, the intelligent Altura flight computer makes it easy for the pilot to operate te system. This enables the pilot to focus on his mission and surroundings.
What is the maximum distance the Altura can be from the ground control station?
